POWERmenus is a Cdev/INIT that will pop up the menu bar anywhere your mouse is located. It works great with large screen monitors and multiple monitors. Along with the menus there are eight other programs called POWERgadgets available in the Pop-up. The gadgets include Alarms, Notes, quick ways to get DAs and Control Panel options, a dailer and more. The demo version will stop running 30 minutes after power up. After 30 minutes the About box is displayed on the menu activate key. The next time the system is powered up, the POWERmenus demo will work again for only 30 minutes.
You can give the demo version of POWERmenus away to anyone as long as this explaination is included.

Continue holding down the mouse button and move the mouse to select the different menus. At this point all the menus work exactly like you would expect them to.

Things that you ought to know.
If you do not wish to have a specific POWERgadget installed in POWERmenus, simply remove the file that you do not want from the POWERgadgets folder. After removing the Gadget from the folder, Reboot you Macintosh. Next time you bring up POWERmenus, the Gadget that you took out will no longer be in the list.
INITs that do not work with POWERmenus
Most of the INITs that do no work with POWERmenus are public domain or shareware. Other INITs that do not work have newer versions that are completly compatible. You may find that the INITs that do not work with POWERmenus are the same INITs that don't work with other INITs.
Sound Master 1.0
This INIT will crash the system when it is loaded after POWERmenus. The symptom is either a ID=1 or ID=2 or the system will cease to boot (everything is frozen.) The solution is to get Sound Master 1.2.
Tempo 1.2
POWERmenus will boot ok with Tempo 1.2 installed. The trouble comes when you try to bring up POWERmenus. Command Click or Triple click not matter how many time you do it will not bring up the menu. The solution is to upgrade to Tempo 2. Tempo 2 is really the best of the macro programs and is really worth the upgrade cost.
TOM_INIT or Radius Tear-Off-Menus
If you tear off a menu from POWERmenus with either TOM_INIT or the Radius TOM the system will crash. This is not POWERmenus fault. Both programs can exist in the system, just remember not to tear off anything from the POWERmenus pop-up. At this time there is no fix.
MenuFonts2
POWERmenus seems to not work when MenuFonts2 is installed. The problem is that MenuFonts2 is activated when menu things are done. This means that everytime POWERmenus is called up MenuFonts2 will do its thing. The more fonts that you have in your system the longer it takes for POWERmenus to pop up. At this time there is no fix. You will have to decide which program is more important to you.
